WPBN: Multiple people have been injured as a result of a gunshot that took place at a nightclub in New York City; however, none of the injuries are considered to be life-threatening.
The event hall known as Amazura, which is situated in the Jamaica area of Queens, was the location where the incident took place.
There were at least ten people injured as a consequence of the gunshot that took place late on Wednesday night, at approximately 11:18 p.m. as a result of the incident.
Neither the New York Police Department nor the New York City Police Department are treating the incident as a terrorist act at this time.
There were many calls to 911 regarding the incident that took place at the Amazura event hall, which is located at 91-12 144th Place, according to the authorities who reported receiving that information.
The facility was hosting a private event in an upstairs space at the time of the incident, and it was at full capacity, with roughly ninety people inside.
Unfortunately, the catastrophe occurred. In addition, there were approximately fifteen people waiting outside the venue in order to enter itself.

As soon as four males approached the site and started firing in the direction of the crowd that was standing outside the event hall, the situation became even more dangerous. Before fleeing the area, the suspects fired more than thirty bullets, striking many victims with their weapons.
They fled in a light-colored automobile with license plates from another state and headed in the direction of the west. Following the incident, a total of eight people, including six ladies and four males, were taken to nearby hospitals for medical care.
All of the victims were identified as having incurred injuries that were not considered to be life-threatening, and their ages are said to range from 16 to 20 years old. It has been confirmed by the authorities that everyone is still expected to recover.
A well-known gang member who had been murdered in October of the previous year and whose birthday was on January 1 was honored with a private party at the Amazura event hall.

The celebration was conducted in memory of the deceased individual. At this time, there have been no arrests made in relation with the shooting that took place.
In an effort to identify and apprehend the individuals who are suspected of being engaged in the incident, the New York Police Department is requesting that members of the general public come forward with any information possible.

Concerns have been raised over the use of firearms in public places as well as safety as a result of the shooting. The matter is still being investigated by law enforcement personnel, and efforts are being made to identify the individuals who are responsible for this terrible conduct.
