LITTLE ROCK, AR – Arkansas residents should prepare for a mix of rain, storms and cold temperatures this weekend, which could potentially disrupt travel plans. Weather models predict storms to continue across central and northern Arkansas beginning Saturday night and continuing through Sunday.
According to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Little Rock, rain is expected late Saturday night, increasing to a 90% chance of rain through Sunday. Southeast winds 15-20 mph with gusts reaching 25 mph. Northern parts of the state could see freezing rain or snow through Sunday night, especially near Harrison and Fayetteville.

Heavy rain and possible storms are expected through Sunday.
