Nyariki, the victim, is 31 years old. She was reported missing after missing several days of work. Her disappearance was investigated when her employer, alarmed by her odd absence, alerted local authorities on Friday.
When New Castle County Police Department officers arrived to her apartment, they discovered what they called suspicious conditions.
The building next to Tracy Nyariki’s first-floor flat in the 2700 block of Stone Place is where Nyier Rickes resides. “I saw the police here since Saturday so I just figured it was something regular,” he added.

Norbert Matara, 32, was named as a person of interest in the case as a result of their research.
