WPBN: It is reported that the man told the authorities that he kidnapped a woman because he wanted the money, but the behavior that he displayed was more than just greedy, as stated in the reports.
“He smirked a lot, he giggled, and, you know, was almost proud of what he did,” police Sergeant Rick Alexander of Haltom City, Texas, said about the suspect, Eduardo Javier Ordonez Godoy, who is 35 years old.
According to the court documents that the outlet was able to get, the man, who was 22 years old at the time, threatened the victim that he would either “prostitute her” or “sell her organs.”
“He claims he’s just a thief. He wants money,” Alexander stated. “But, you know, in this case, clearly he went beyond that and brought a firearm into it.”
Godoy allegedly kidnapped the 22-year-old lady at gunpoint about 4:45 a.m. on Tuesday at the Acacia Apartments, where she was walking to her vehicle. Haltom City police have stated that the theft occurred.
“The victim was then driven approximately 22 miles to the Camden Apartments at 3900 Grapevine Mills Parkway in Grapevine, where she was briefly restrained,” cops stated. “She managed to escape and summon help, while the suspect fled in her vehicle.”

The automobile that had been stolen was discovered by the Oklahoma City police department in a parking lot on Christmas. It was reported that Godoy was inside, and officers brought him into arrest, according to the authorities.
The evidence that was recovered at the site was connected to the offense that was reported, as stated in their writing.

It has been stated by the police that Godoy, who is originally from Honduras, had previously committed a crime of a similar nature and had been deported. An ICE detainer is presently holding him in custody.
Accusations of aggravated kidnapping and aggravated robbery have been brought against Godoy in the state of Texas. In the state of Oklahoma, he is being charged with a number of offenses, including the unlawful use of a vehicle and the use of a firearm while committing a felony.
