Phoenix, AZ – Residents in Phoenix can expect ideal conditions as mild temperatures and clear skies continue through New Year’s Day. Highs will remain in the low to mid-70s, creating perfect weather for outdoor celebrations and travel plans.

According to the National Weather Service, Tuesday will bring mostly sunny skies with a high near 71 degrees, while New Year’s Day will remain clear with temperatures peaking at 72 degrees. Evening lows are forecasted in the mid-40s, so visitors attending nighttime events should prepare for cooler conditions.

Those traveling on major highways such as I-10 or I-17 should encounter minimal weather-related disruptions. Calm winds and clear conditions will dominate the forecast through the weekend, making it a smooth ride for drivers heading to celebrations.

Looking ahead, Thursday and Friday will continue the warming trend, with temperatures climbing to 74 and 75 degrees respectively. Sunny skies are expected to persist, offering residents and visitors a picturesque start to 2025.

Officials advise wearing sunscreen during outdoor activities, as UV exposure can still be significant in winter. Additionally, travelers should monitor local traffic updates for any holiday-related congestion.

Be sure to enjoy the unseasonably warm conditions and stay safe as you ring in the New Year.
