Winds could gust up to 40 mph on Sunday, further complicating travel. A Winter Storm Warning is in effect until 4 a.m. Monday for the eastern slopes of the Cascades and surrounding regions.

Drivers are advised to prepare for hazardous travel conditions. The warning recommends carrying tire chains, checking road conditions before traveling, and allowing extra braking distance. Snow driving tips include reducing speed and avoiding sudden movements.
