Suspect charged in fatal shooting of man found on Galveston Road


HOUSTON, TX – Charges have been filed against a suspect in the fatal shooting of a man found in a vehicle at 15800 Galveston Road on June 14.

According to the Houston Police Department, the suspect, Marquise Lavell Ward, 25, is charged with murder in the 230th State District Court. He is accused in the death of Allen Bianchino, 28.

Officers responded to a crash at the scene around 3:40 p.m. and discovered Bianchino in the driver’s seat of a disabled vehicle. He had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced deceased at the scene. Witnesses reported that the vehicle was traveling eastbound on Galveston Road before striking a parked, unoccupied vehicle and coming to a stop.

At the time of the incident, the suspects were described as two Black males believed to be between 18 and 25 years of age. Further investigation identified Ward as one of the suspects, leading to his arrest by the HPD Narcotics Division’s Tactical Team on December 26. He was subsequently charged with murder.
