Pennsylvania Weather Alert: Showers and Gusty Winds Expected Sunday Ahead of Cold Front

Pittsburgh, PA – Showers and gusty winds are set to impact Pennsylvania Sunday, potentially disrupting travel and outdoor plans.

According to the National Weather Service, a cold front will sweep through the area Sunday afternoon, bringing wind gusts up to 28 mph. Rainfall is expected to start early Sunday morning, intensifying throughout the day, with up to three-quarters of an inch possible. Temperatures will peak at 64°F before dropping into the low 40s overnight.

Saturday’s mild temperatures give way to a wet and windy Sunday, with highs reaching 64°F. Overnight lows will drop to the low 40s as rain persists into Monday. New Year’s Eve is forecast to be partly sunny but chilly, with highs near 51°F. By New Year’s Day, rain returns with highs peaking at 40°F.

Prepare for wet roads, delays, and cooler conditions as the week progresses. Residents are urged to monitor weather updates for potential advisories or warnings.
