WPBN: An angry Chipotle patron allegedly threatened to return and “stab” the staff after physically attacking a counter employee after they allegedly botched her order.
The woman was seen pushing employees aside behind the counter of the fast-casual eatery in Brentwood, Washington, DC, on Saturday while carrying an empty dish, according to footage uploaded to X.
After giving them a quick shake, the irate customer fills the bowl with food. When worker Roberto Hernandez attempted to take the pile of food out of her hand, the fight became out of control.
Food flies up about the workstation as Hernandez grabs for the bowl, but she slaps him in the face and pushes it away slightly.
Hernandez claimed that after being violently attacked at work, he was left scared and that seeing the video, which has had at least eight million views, is “triggering” for him.

The angry customer was furious because her Uber Eats order was incorrect, Hernandez told WUSA9. According to the staff, she requested a refund since her burrito bowl did not have twice as much meat as she claimed to have ordered.
Hernandez claimed that he and his boss attempted to inform her that they were unable to issue a refund and that she would have to get in touch with Uber in order to get her money back.
Hernandez also informed the outlet that he had verified the purchase receipt and found that she had not placed a double meat order.
The Chipotle employee claimed that after growing increasingly agitated by the circumstance, she stepped behind the counter, took matters into her own hands, and began serving a fresh order.
Hernandez claimed that when he attempted to halt the suspect, he was attacked.
“I was mad, upset. But I’m a man you know I can’t hit a female,” Hernandez stated. “So I walked away.”
Following the altercation, the aggressive patron allegedly threatened the employees online.
“Yesterday, she was saying, ‘I’m going to come back and stab them and take their life,’” he stated.
The unnamed consumer said that neither a refund nor a new bowl were prepared for her by the staff. She asserts that she merely “threw” the bowl at the worker after they placed their hands on her first.
“I wasn’t aggressive toward them until I got assaulted. The video was cut short,” she stated.
Despite the fact that the woman intends to file a lawsuit against Chipotle, the fast-food business has filed a police complaint on the claimed assault.

Employees at the fast-casual restaurant have been attacked in the past by those who were upset with their service.
Chipotle employees in North Carolina were held down and violently attacked by two irate customers in December of last year. The clients had been warned that they would be charged an additional fee for chicken.
During the same month, two women at a Chipotle restaurant in Maryland threw food and a chair at a worker who was cleaning the restaurant.
