Friday night into Saturday is the most concerning timeframe, with heavy rainfall and possible thunderstorms. Highs Saturday could reach 66°F, while rain chances soar to 80%, with isolated storms developing by evening. Travelers on major roadways like I-565 should prepare for wet conditions and possible delays.
The rain continues into Saturday night, with downpours and thunderstorm activity likely. Low temperatures around 54°F and high precipitation rates could lead to localized flooding in low-lying areas. Sunday offers slight relief, with a 30% chance of lingering showers and partly cloudy skies by evening.
As the Tennessee Valley moves into early next week, drier conditions and highs near 63°F are forecast, providing a reprieve for post-holiday plans.
