Disneyland’s new Lightning Lane Premier Pass combines existing line-cutting options with additional perks and complexity at an eye popping $400 price tag — more than the cost of the most expensive parkhopper daily ticket.
Disneyland will begin the pilot rollout of the new Lightning Lane Premier Pass on Wednesday, Oct. 23 with very limited quantities available each day.

Lightning Lane Premier can be added to any single park, parkhopper or Magic Key ticket at a cost of $400 per day.
All of Disneyland’s Lightning Lane passes let visitors skip the standby line and jump on select attractions faster.
The Premier Pass allows visitors a single ride on each available Lightning Lane attraction at both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure — including Rise of the Resistance and Radiator Springs Racers.
The big perk with the Premier Pass is that visitors can ride any Lightning Lane attraction at any time they want without scheduling the next available return time in the Disneyland app. Just walk up, jump on and ride what you want when you want.

The Premier passes can be purchased through the Disneyland app up to two days in advance starting at 7 a.m. That means it’s possible the limited availability line-cutting passes could be sold out by the time the park opens each day.
The price tag will remain steady at $400 from Oct. 23 through Dec. 31 during the pilot rollout during the busy Halloween and Christmas seasons. Prices will range between $300 and $400 starting on Jan. 1. Variable prices will show up in the Disneyland app two days in advance.
The Premier Pass price doesn’t change whether you buy a single park or parkhopper ticket. The value of the Premier Pass doubles if you buy a parkhopper ticket or have a Magic Key annual pass that works like a parkhopper.
The Premier Pass is good for 14 Lightning Lane attractions at Disneyland and 10 Lightning Lane attractions at DCA — including the Rise of the Resistance and Radiator Springs Racers not included in the Lightning Lane Multi pass.
The 14 Disneyland attractions include the Haunted Mansion (which is currently available only by virtual queue and will eventually be included in Lightning Lane Premier) and Pirates of the Caribbean (which is a temporary Lightning Lane attraction while work continues on the Haunted Mansion).
The Premier Pass does not replace any existing queueing options. Visitors can still use the free standby and virtual queues and pay extra for the Lightning Lane Multi pass ($32 and up) and the Lightning Lane Single passes good for Rise of the Resistance ($27 and up) and Radiator Springs Racers ($17 and up).
The line-cutting passes are available as upcharge add-ons to daily tickets ($104 to $206), parkhopper tickets ($169 To $281) and annual passes ($599 To $1,749).
The Premier Pass adds unlimited downloads of Disney PhotoPass for all of the Lightning Lane rides including Rise of the Resistance and Radiator Springs Racers.
The Disneyland app will keep track of the rides you’ve already used the Premier Pass for and which ones you can still jump on.
Disneyland plans to use the pilot rollout launch to listen, learn and adjust the Premier Pass program based on visitor feedback.
