When it comes to playoff baseball in the Bronx, Taylor Swift was ready for it.
The pop superstar and her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, attended ALCS Game 1 between the Yankees and Cleveland Guardians on Monday night.
The star-powered pair sat in a suite along the third-base line at Yankee Stadium.
“Welcome to New York, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce!” the official MLB account posted on X, referencing the title to Swift’s 2014 NYC anthem, along with a video showing her and Kelce chatting in their seats.
Swift’s hits are staples at Yankee Stadium, while Anthony Rizzo used her 2017 song “…Ready for It?” as his walk-up music last season.
“Taylor Swift, it’s her summer, really,” Rizzo said in July 2023 after switching to that song. “She’s helping the economy in every city she goes.”
This is hardly the first time Swift attended a sporting event in the Tri-State area.
Last October, Swift attended the Chiefs’ game against the Jets at MetLife Stadium.
And last month, Swift and Kelce went to the U.S. Open men’s final at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing.
Swift also performed three sold-out concerts at MetLife Stadium last year for her blockbuster Eras Tour.
She is set to begin the latest U.S. leg of the Eras Tour this weekend at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, while Kelce’s Chiefs just wrapped up their Week 6 bye.
