The Omak police continue their investigation into Kit Mora’s disappearance

OMAK- The Omak Police Department announced in a rather cryptic Facebook post that it will be working in tandem with the Office of the Attorney General’s Murdered and Missing Indigenous Women’s and People (MMIWP) Cold Case Unit to further investigate the disappearance of Esmerelda “Kit” Mora.

Investigation Ongoing

The current residents of a house in the Omak region were forced to vacate after a search warrant was executed there by the Washington State Patrol Forensic Crime Lab as part of the ongoing investigation. The Omak Police Department has responded by arranging assistance for the impacted family in an effort to lessen any unforeseen difficulties they could encounter.

Like many others in the community, the Omak Police Department expressed their commitment to finding the truth surrounding Kit Mora’s disappearance. According to the department, the public will be informed as further information from the crime lab becomes available. However, as of right now, no more information is available.
