Additionally, Arizona’s abortion laws are restrictive, and there is a possibility that the state’s 1864 abortion ban could go back into effect.
Kansas’ Child Care Crisis: A Challenge for Job Seekers
Kansas, ranking 9th, has a lack of quality child care options, with only 825 licensed centers serving a population of 2.9 million people. The state also has a high crime rate, with over 11,000 violent crimes reported in 2022. On the other hand, Kansas has strong healthcare and reproductive rights.
