Last Chance for Orange County Residents to Claim Unclaimed Cash
According to The US Sun, people in Orange County, Florida, need to hurry to claim unclaimed cash, with checks of up to $10,000 still available. The Orange County Clerk of Courts has found a list of checks that were never cashed. This might be because people moved and didn’t leave a forwarding address or simply forgot about the checks.
To see if they have unclaimed cash, residents should visit the Orange County Clerk of Courts website and search for their names before September 1, 2024. If their name isn’t on the list but they think they’re owed money, they can still ask about it before the deadline. After September 1, any unclaimed cash will go into a different fund.
