Beach Man Arrested After Stabbing Ex-Wife and Kidnapping Three Children
Amber Alert Issued as Suspect Leads Police on Chase Ending in Fatal Maryland Crash
According to True Crime News, a 36-year-old man named Dana Plummer is in jail after a violent incident that started in Virginia Beach, Virginia and ended in Maryland. On August 14, Dana Plummer allegedly stabbed his ex-wife and her 12-year-old daughter. Both were taken to the hospital and are in stable condition. After the stabbing, Dana Plummer reportedly kidnapped his three young children, ages 1, 5, and 7, leading to an Amber Alert.

High-Speed Police Chase Ends in Tragic Crash, Killing 16-Month-Old Girl in Maryland
The next morning, police saw Plummer’s car in Fairfax County, Virginia, and chased him into Maryland. The chase ended in a crash that sadly killed his 16-month-old daughter, Za’Riyah Dana Plummer. The other two children and Dana Plummer were also hurt and taken to the hospital. Police are now working with prosecutors to file charges against him in both Virginia and Maryland.
