Video Footage Shows Attorney Daniel Dale Sneaking Contraband to Detainee at Raymond Detention Center
According to True Crime News, a Mississippi lawyer named Daniel Dale was arrested for allegedly sneaking illegal items, like drugs and cellphones, into the Raymond Detention Center. Hinds County Sheriff Tyree Jones said deputies watched video footage from August 5, showing Dale giving a cellphone and a brown envelope to a detainee.

Lawyer Daniel Dale Faces Multiple Charges for Smuggling Contraband Into Raymond Detention Center, Investigation Ongoing
Daniel Dale was caught smuggling illegal items into the Raymond Detention Center when a silver briefcase he carried triggered a contraband detector. Inside, officials discovered cell phones, marijuana, tobacco, a digital scale, and other electronics. The investigation found Dale had made at least ten visits to the jail since June, pretending to be a lawyer to deliver contraband. He allegedly conspired with detainees William Harness Jr. and Marcell Martin. Dale was arrested on August 8 and faces charges of conspiracy and bringing illegal items into jail, with more charges possible as the investigation continues.
