Last Chance to Claim Your 2024 TABOR Refund of Up to $800 by October 15
According to KDVR, many Colorado taxpayers can still claim their 2024 TABOR refund, which could be up to $800. This refund comes from the Taxpayer’s Bill of Rights (TABOR), which gives back extra tax money to residents. So far, $1.76 billion of the $3.28 billion available has been claimed, meaning there are still refunds waiting to be collected.
People can claim their TABOR refund until October 15, 2024, if they have a Colorado income tax liability, claim a refund of wage withholding, or need to file a Colorado tax return because of a federal tax return. After October, the next chance to file for a TABOR refund will be during the next tax season.
