According to TrueCrimeNews, A man named Anthony Newberry did something very bad. He hurt a woman named Lynette Lecates and left her for dead. This happened in 2021. The police found Lecates and took her to the hospital. She was hurt very badly and did not survive.

Friendship Turns Deadly: The Grisly Murder of Lynette Lecates

Newberry and his friend, Darris Williams, did some bad things to Lecates. They took her money card, but they didn’t have the secret code to use it. When Lecates wouldn’t give them the code, they got angry and hurt her. They put her in the trunk of a car and drove her to another place. They hurt her again and then left her near some railroad tracks.
