Lawsuit Filed Against San Dieguito Union High School District for Alleged Failure to Act on Warning Signs of Molestation by Former Supervisor Omar Galeana!

Lawsuit Accuses School District of Ignoring Warning Signs About Former Supervisor

Parents’ Concerns About Behavior Reported to Principal, Galeana Faces Multiple Charges

According to abc10 News San Diego, in Encinitas, California a lawsuit has been filed against the San Dieguito Union High School District. The lawsuit accuses the district of not acting on warning signs about Omar Galeana a former school supervisor charged with molesting a 12-year-old girl. Galeana who was arrested in March is alleged to have used grooming tactics like giving the girl marijuana and taking her to places such as the beach and a park. The lawsuit claims the district knew Galeana might be a risk but still let him work with students.

The lawsuit further states that several parents had raised concerns about Galeana’s behavior with the school principal believing it to be inappropriate. Despite these warnings Galeana reportedly used social media and messaging apps like WhatsApp to communicate with students which gave him more access to minors. The former supervisor faces multiple felonies and misdemeanors related to the alleged abuse. He has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
