Houston Man Charged with Mother’s Murder After Nearly a Decade
Confession Unveiled but Body Remains Missing
According to FOX26 Houston, Houston police have charged 37-year-old Donny Daosavanh with the murder of his mother a crime that dates back nearly a decade. The investigation began in 2014, but the case gained new momentum in 2017 when Daosavanh admitted to the killing. Despite his confession he did not reveal where he buried his mother’s body which made it difficult for police to gather all the necessary evidence.
Last Thursday detectives re-arrested Daosavanh after collecting enough evidence to move forward with the charges. The investigation faced challenges because Daosavanh’s refusal to disclose the body’s location left authorities without crucial details. Reports indicate that his mother was living with him and depended on him financially at the time of her death.
