Police Respond to Tragic Deadly Shooting at Large Gathering in Rochester
According to the report of Fox News, a tragic event happened in Rochester, New York, on Sunday evening when a deadly shooting at a large gathering in Maplewood Park left one person dead and at least six others hurt. Captain Greg Bello from the Rochester Police Department said officers went to the scene around 6:20 p.m. and found multiple people shot. One person, an adult in their 20s, was killed, and six others were taken to local hospitals, with at least one having life-threatening injuries.

Authorities Urge Public to Share Evidence in Rochester Deadly Shooting Investigation
Many law enforcement agencies responded, including the Irondequoit Police, Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, Rochester Police, and New York State Police. The police are asking anyone with videos or photos of the deadly shooting to share them with the Major Crimes Unit or Crime Stoppers, instead of posting them on social media. They also encourage anyone with information to call 311 or 911 to help with the investigation.
