Connecticut Woman Found Dead Days Before Sentencing for Husband’s Murder
State police are looking into the death of 76-year-old Linda Kosuda-Bigazzi, found dead in her Connecticut home on July 24 and the day she was supposed to be sentenced for killing her husband, Pierluigi Bigazzi. Authorities went to check on her after someone couldn’t reach her, and with help from local fire personnel and they entered the home and found her deceased.
In March, Kosuda-Bigazzi pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter and first-degree larceny for her husband’s death. Pierluigi Bigazzi, a well-known doctor and professor at the University of Connecticut’s medical school had been missing for months before his body was found wrapped in trash bags in their basement in February 2018. Investigators found he had died around July 2017. After his death about $46,000 in paychecks had been deposited into their joint account, according to the report of True Crime Daily.
