According to KFVS12, in Scott City, Missouri a shocking incident has rattled the community as Marcus Allen Bowers aged 35 finds himself behind bars at Cape Girardeau County Jail on a significant $50,000 cash-only bond. He faces serious charges, including arson and property damage following accusations that he poured gasoline inside a residence to set it ablaze. According to reports Bowers claimed he was purging the home of malevolent spirits leaving extensive destruction in his wake. The aftermath revealed a home with a gaping hole in one of its walls and furniture ravaged by gasoline.
During his arrest Bowers resisted officers reportedly assaulting a deputy and damaging a patrol car by smashing its window. Despite warnings officers used a taser to subdue him before taking him into custody. Bowers now faces charges including harassment, resisting arrest and causing nearly $1,870 in property damage.
