According to True Crime News, in a Boston courtroom Carl Richard Vega aged 61 faced the culmination of a harrowing tale that gripped the city for more than thirty years. Known also by the alias Ricardo Mazzarino Vega was sentenced to spend the remainder of his life behind bars without the possibility of parole. His conviction stemmed from the heinous murder of Judy Chamberlain a 21-year-old whose lifeless body was discovered by a maintenance worker in a basement well. Chamberlain had been brutally strangled after enduring a sexual assault her tragic demise casting a long shadow over her loved ones and law enforcement.
