Gas Prices Soar – Government Aid on the Horizon

By July 2024, a new gas stimulus package might provide up to $3,200 in one-time payments to qualifying citizens. Even before the federal relief is confirmed many states have already started their programs. Nineteen states are giving out various forms of aid. For example, Alaska offers up to $3,200, California gives up to $1,050, Colorado and Florida offer $750 and $450, respectively. Maine and New Jersey are also providing $850 and $500 in direct payments. These state programs are designed to help people especially those who earn less than $75,000 individually or $150,000 as a married couple, according to the report of Marca.
