Tragic Case in Fremont: Missing Toddler Found Dead, Father Suspected
According to the report of True Crime News, a sad story unfolded when a 42-year-old father, Jared Lorenzo, was named a suspect in the death of his 3-year-old daughter, Ellie Lorenzo after he took his own life. Ellie’s mother reported her missing on July 12 when she wasn’t returned during a custody exchange. Ellie was last seen alive with her father on July 11. Investigators found out that Jared Lorenzo left his apartment early on July 12 with Ellie’s body, drove to San Jose, and put her remains in a trash bin, which was then emptied by a garbage truck and taken to a recycling facility.

San Jose Police Confirm Body of Missing Toddler – Jared Lorenzo as Suspect
On July 13, San Jose Police were called to the recycling facility where a worker found a child’s body matching Ellie’s description. The Santa Clara County Coroner’s Office confirmed the body was Ellie on July 15. Police believe that after leaving his daughter’s body, Jared Lorenzo drove around before he was found dead in San Francisco later that morning, having apparently jumped off a building. San Jose Police officially named him a suspect in Ellie’s death on July 16.
