Flint, MI Offering Up to $7,500 in Child Tax Credits to Support New Families
According to the report of Marca, in July 2024, Flint, Michigan will give a $1,500 Child Tax Credit (CTC) to help families. Pregnant women in Flint can also get an extra $500 each month for the first year of their child’s life. Altogether, this program can provide up to $7,500 per family and is part of a $55 million effort to support new parents.
To get this Child Tax Credit, pregnant women need to sign up for the Rx Kids program, which started on January 10, 2024. Signing up is easy and does not require any questions. This makes sure that all eligible families can get the help they need.
