The altercation happened around midday prompting a quick response from police to the 1800 block of Wisconsin Avenue Northwest. Witnesses described a tense situation in the Safeway parking garage involving two adult men. Despite surveillance cameras in place authorities have not disclosed the identities of those involved or provided any details about suspects.
After the altercation both individuals managed to travel to Georgetown Hospital located about a mile away from the scene. One of the men received treatment for injuries described as non-life-threatening while tragically the other succumbed to his wounds.
