According to the Northeast Nebraska News Channel, Estefan Bernardino Chavez, a 30-year-old man from Norfolk, was handed a 30-year prison term on June 6, 2024, by Omaha’s federal court for the production of child pornography. His illicit actions were uncovered on February 28, 2023, when he attempted to disseminate inappropriate content online using the Tor network. Chavez utilized his home IP address to establish an account and upload a video showing inappropriate behavior with a minor.

Arrest and Legal Consequences for Estefan Bernardino Chavez
Estefan Bernardino Chavez was quickly arrested on March 1, 2023, thanks to the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Child Exploitation and Human Trafficking Task Force. They searched his home with a warrant. After serving his time in prison, Estefan Bernardino Chavez will have 15 years of supervised release and must be listed as a sex offender. He also has to pay $3,000 for restitution and a $3,100 special assessment.
