According to True Crime News, in a tragic end to a long investigation Daniel Burda 41 has entered a plea deal in the death of Dennis Day a former member of Disney’s “The Mickey Mouse Club.” Burda pleaded no contest to criminally negligent homicide and second-degree abuse of a corpse. He was sentenced to just over four years in prison followed by three years of post-release supervision. This plea deal announced by the Jackson County District Attorney’s Office on July 8 comes five years after Day’s body was found under a pile of clothes in his Phoenix, Oregon home. Despite several welfare checks at his home Day remained missing for months. Burda who had lived with Day and his husband for an extended period was arrested in July 2019 and faced multiple charges including second-degree manslaughter and identity theft.
