According to The US Sun, in Pomona, California, families with children under four are looking forward to getting extra money soon. The city is starting the Pomona Household Universal Grants (HUG) Pilot Program in August. Eligible families will receive $500 every month for 18 months. This program aims to help families who are facing money problems. It’s funded by over $2.4 million from the American Rescue Plan Act.
