Richmond Police Seek Suspects in Eyeglasses Store Break-In Attempt
Stolen Car Used in Attempted Break-In at Tom Kirkland Opticians Inc.
According to the article 12 On Your Side, Richmond detectives need help finding three suspects who tried to break into a local eyeglasses store using a stolen car. The break-in incident happened just before 12:45 a.m. on Monday, July 1. Police were called to Tom Kirkland Opticians Inc. on the 00 block of North 8th Street. When they arrived, they found a Honda Accord crashed into the front of the store. Detectives learned the car was stolen from a nearby state. The driver had rammed the car into the storefront several times to break in, while two others tried to get inside. When they failed, all three suspects ran away on foot.

Richmond Police Request Public’s Help in Identifying Eyeglasses Store Break-In Suspects
Authorities are appealing to the public for any information regarding the incident. They can contact Fourth Precinct Detective K. Robinson directly at (804) 646-6820 or anonymously report tips through Crime Stoppers at (804) 780-1000. The suspects have not been located, and police are actively seeking their whereabouts.
