Delaware Extends Clean Transportation Incentive Program Amid Economic Strain

Several states are continuing to assist residents affected by economic challenges and inflation following the end of federal stimulus checks. Delaware has extended its Clean Transportation Incentive Program until April 30, 2025, offering a $2,500 refund to residents who purchase electric vehicles (EVs). This initiative started in 2015 has already refunded $12.8 million to over 5,500 residents emphasizing a shift towards EVs and away from propane and natural gas vehicles, according to the report of Marca.

Atlanta Launches E-Bike Rebate Program to Enhance Urban Mobility and Sustainability

In Atlanta, a new E-Bike rebate program is aimed at improving urban mobility and reducing carbon emissions. Residents can receive a $1,000 rebate for purchasing an e-bike through a week-long sweepstakes starting June 16. This initiative supports safer streets and better job access for low-income individuals. Different rebate amounts based on income levels ensure equitable access to e-bikes with higher amounts available for cargo e-bikes promoting sustainable transportation solutions in the city.

The program provides financial incentives and emphasizes safety and accessibility in transportation with rebates tailored to income levels to ensure fairness and promote eco-friendly transportation options.
