Fatal Shooting Case Shatters Community on Graduation Day
In Lowell, Massachusetts tragedy struck as 15-year-old Ahliana Dickey was found shot dead on the day she was supposed to graduate from middle school. Her family, eagerly awaiting her at the ceremony on June 14, became worried when she didn’t show up. Returning home, they discovered her fatally wounded in a bedroom. Police found shell casings nearby indicating a fatal shooting had occurred, according to the report of True Crime Daily.
Later that evening, neighbors reported hearing a heated argument followed by gunshots. Ahliana’s pleas to end her relationship added a chilling context to the tragedy. Authorities discovered a history of abuse by 21-year-old Trevor Bady, who was romantically involved with Ahliana and had allegedly threatened and assaulted her before.

Arrest Made in Fatal Shooting Case of Ahliana Dickey
Bady was seen on surveillance footage arriving at Ahliana’s home before a shooting and leaving afterward, behaving suspiciously. An Uber driver also reported Bady acting erratically during rides related to the incident. He was arrested on June 17 and charged with murder, armed home invasion, and firearm offenses. Despite pleading not guilty, he remains in custody without bail, facing serious accusations.
