Evidence of Blood and Burn Pit Leads to Charges Against David Perry
According to True Crime News, in a shocking case from Indianapolis, a 17-year-old named David Perry has been arrested for allegedly murdering his father 35-year-old Brandon Perry, and disposing of his body in a river. Brandon Perry was reported missing on May 26 last seen driving his truck with a trailer full of tools. The trailer was found abandoned the next day and his vehicle was located on May 29. The Indianapolis Police Department launched an investigation uncovering disturbing details that led to David Perry’s arrest on June 1. Authorities believe that after allegedly killing his father David placed the body in a container and threw it into the White River.
The situation became more serious when Brandon’s sister reported him missing expressing worry because he hadn’t shown up for work and had acted unusually. On May 30 she went to the home shared by Brandon and David and found a significant amount of blood on a mattress. She contacted the police who discovered additional blood evidence in the house and a burn pit in the yard. In the burn pit, they found Brandon’s license and credit card both severely damaged by fire. With the help of surveillance footage and interviews, the detectives gathered enough evidence to arrest David. On June 5 the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office charged him with murder and illegal possession of a firearm.

Teen Allegedly Confesses to Dumping Father’s Body in River Using Sealed Trash Can
David allegedly told his aunt that he disposed of his father’s body in the White River using a trash can claiming it was sealed and would not open. Police later found wheel marks on the riverbank that matched the tread of the missing trash can. This tragic incident has shocked the community leaving many horrified by the details of the case. The police are still searching for Brandon Perry’s body trying to understand the full extent of what happened. The investigation continues as authorities work to piece together all the evidence surrounding this tragic event.
