According to NTD in Toronto Frank Stronach, the 91-year-old Austrian-Canadian auto parts billionaire has been arrested on multiple sexual assault charges spanning several decades according to Peel Regional Police. Stronach, a prominent figure in the Canadian business community faces five charges including rape, indecent assault on a female, sexual assault, and forcible confinement. He was scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton at a later date. Police have indicated that there is more than one accuser though they have not disclosed the exact number of victims. They allege that the assaults occurred from the 1980s through to 2023 and are appealing for more potential victims or anyone with information to come forward. Magna International where Stronach relinquished control in 2010 has distanced itself from the allegations with spokesperson Dave Niemiec stating that the company has no knowledge of the investigation beyond media reports and will not comment further on the ongoing legal matter.
