According to the published article by Audacy, in New Jersey, it’s tough for older people to afford to stay where they are. Housing costs push many seniors to think about moving away, even if they’ve paid off their houses. To help with this, New Jersey agencies made a guide for seniors to live more easily. The guide talks about housing, health, transportation, socializing, jobs, and getting information.

Kaylee McGuire from the New Jersey Department of Human Services said they want to make homes cheaper and easier to live in as people get older. They also want to make sure communities are accessible. By 2030, there will be a lot more older people in New Jersey, so they need to act fast.
