Suspects Held on $100,000 Bond After Attempted Theft at K2 Bluestone Coal Preparation Plant
According to the published article of WVVA, four men were arrested Saturday night after breaking into the Bluestone Coal Preparation Plant near Burke Mountain, as reported by the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office. The men, whose names have not been shared, are each being held on a $100,000 bond. Deputies got a tip about several men in a Blue Chevrolet Silverado trying to steal from the K2 Bluestone Coal Preparation Plant.

Deputies Arrest Four Men After Chase and Bluestone Coal Preparation Plant Theft Near Pinnacle Creek
Deputies found the truck after a short chase that ended near Pinnacle Creek. Inside the truck, they found three men covered in black coal dirt and mud. They also found several items in the truck that seemed to belong to the mining industry. With help from a Bluestone Coal Mine Manager, deputies learned about a fourth man involved in the crime. They found and arrested this fourth man as well. The names of the arrested men have not been released yet.
