According to the published article of People, in Sarasota, Florida, a man named Darryl Bernard Brookins was arrested for a shooting that hurt Brian Battie and killed his brother Tommie. The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office caught Darryl Bernard Brookins with the help of the U.S. Marshals Task Force. The shooting happened in a parking lot early on May 18 and Tommie died while Brian was badly hurt and is still on a ventilator.
