Sex Offender Arrested After Faking Own Death and Molesting Minor Client
Pinal County Sheriff’s Office has made a shocking arrest, taking into custody a convicted sex offender who allegedly kidnapped and molested a minor client. Benjamin Hollins, a behavioral health counselor in Arizona City, was convicted of a sex offense in California over two decades ago. Despite his criminal past, Hollins failed to register as a sex offender in Arizona in 2018, according to the crime report of True Crime Daily.
The 16-year-old victim, who was under Hollins’ care, was allegedly subjected to molestation by the convicted sex offender. Hollins was sentenced to supervised probation after entering a plea deal with the condition that he register as a sex offender every year. However, his registration lapsed when he allegedly staged his own death in October 2023.

Authorities Applaud Vigilant Registration Efforts
