According to True Crime Daily in Santaquin, Utah tragedy struck when Michael Jayne aged 42 faced severe charges for allegedly holding a woman hostage in his truck and causing the death of a police sergeant during a distressing traffic stop. Despite law enforcement’s efforts to intervene Jayne the truck driver, he sped away leading to a fatal collision with Santaquin Police Sgt. Bill Hooser. Following the crash, Jayne fled on foot escalating the chaos by reportedly stealing another vehicle, a Ford F-150 which he subsequently crashed.
