According to NBC4i, time is running out for people in Ohio to get their tax refunds from 2020. Mark Steber from Jackson Hewitt Tax Services says they have until May 17th to file and claim their money. Surprisingly, over a million people including 31,400 Ohioans haven’t claimed around $1 billion in tax refunds yet which could be about $909 each.

Many people don’t know they can get tax refunds, especially if they earned less money. Mark Steber warns against believing wrong advice like from TikTok. He suggests getting help from a tax professional to make sure everything is done right and to get the most money back.
