New York Unemployment Rises and Across U.S.
According to Press Connects, the government said more people asked for New York unemployment help last week. The New York unemployment number went up to 23,373 from 13,125 the week before. Across the U.S., 231,000 people filed for unemployment which is 22,000 more than the week before.
This New York unemployment shows that the job situation is still tough. In New York and the U.S. as a whole, more people are needing help with unemployment. Some states like Indiana are having a harder time with this. But in the Virgin Islands, fewer people are asking for help which might mean things are getting better there.
