According to NBC News, WBC middleweight boxing champ Jermall Charlo got into trouble with the law. Police in Pearland, Texas, arrested Jermall Charlo for driving drunk, running from the cops, and leaving a crash site where over $200 in damage happened. The arrest happened on Broadway St. in Pearland near Houston after a fight broke out between Jermall Charlo and others involved in the crash. Jermall Charlo tried to get away in his Lamborghini but got caught and arrested.

Jermall Charlo, who’s 33 years old, is famous in boxing with a record of 33 wins and no losses. Jermall Charlo recently won a fight against José Benavidez Jr. But he hasn’t defended his middleweight championship belt since beating Juan Macias Montiel in June 2021. There was talk about him fighting Canelo Alvarez but it didn’t happen. Instead, his twin brother Jermell Charlo fought and lost. Jermall Charlo was taken to jail in Brazoria County but was let out after he paid a $9,500 bond.
