David Knezevich, husband of missing woman Ana Knezevich was unexpectedly arrested by federal authorities at Miami International Airport. He is accused of involvement in the kidnapping of a U.S. citizen in Madrid. This arrest signifies a major breakthrough in the investigation into Ana’s disappearance, according to the crime report of Press Enterprise.
Ana Knezevich, aged 40 went on a three-month trip to Madrid in December 2023, amid a difficult period in her marriage to David Knezevich. The couple was separating and getting ready for a divorce when Ana disappeared without a trace on February 2nd. The day she disappeared something suspicious happened at the Madrid apartment building where she was staying security cameras were painted over potentially hiding important evidence.
Concerns grew when Ana’s friends received strange text messages from her phone the next day saying she had met someone and would be gone for a few days. But her friends doubted the messages suspecting something was wrong. One of Ana’s friends reported her disappearance to the National Police in Madrid on February 5th mentioning the strange circumstances surrounding her vanishing.
