Disagreement Over School Funding

Jason Clare wants to fix this by making sure that funding is tied to how well schools are helping these students. But there’s some pushback from the states about these new rules.

Calls for Increased Funding in Public Education
Furthermore, some politicians like Penny Allman-Payne from the Greens are saying that the government needs to do more and do it faster. They think that public schools should get more money, especially since the needs of students are getting more complicated. Allman-Payne says that without more money it’s hard for teachers to do their best and for schools to provide the extra help that students need.
