They’re starting it in over 3,500 places in the United States and the goal is to make buying fresh food easier. Walmart and Target already have similar services so Amazon wants to compete with them.
For $9.99/month for Prime members and $4.99 for EBT cardholders subscribers enjoy unlimited grocery delivery from Whole Foods Market, Amazon Fresh and local stores on Amazon.com. Orders can be delivered within one hour or picked up in 30 minutes regardless of order size. Subscribers can make weekly reservations for guaranteed availability and enjoy unlimited delivery from local grocery and specialty stores, offering greater shopping flexibility.
If you’re a Prime member, you get even more perks and you can get special deals at Amazon Fresh and Whole Foods Market. Plus, if you use your Prime Visa card you can get 5% back on your purchases. This makes the subscription even more worth it.
