According to Southwest Journal, Louisiana is a state near the Gulf of Mexico. It has a lot of people about 4.7 million. Louisiana has a mix of different cultures like French, Spanish, and African. But recently, there’s been more crime happening there. Many are losing their things and violent crimes are going up. Louisiana even has the highest murder rate in the whole country with over 820 people killed. But not every place in Louisiana is most dangerous. If you’re careful, you can still enjoy visiting famous places like Marie Laveau’s House of Voodoo or Oak Alley Plantation and have some tasty beignets and chicory coffee without worrying too much about safety.

Alexandria, Louisiana is known for its culture and history. But it’s also one of the most dangerous with lots of crime happening. No part of the city is safe from crime even though there are cool places like the zoo and museums. People there worry a lot about their stuff getting stolen because the crime rates are much higher than normal.
Monroe
Monroe, Louisiana, is an average place for education but has a lot of violent crime. It’s ranked as one of the most dangerous cities in the state. People there have a higher chance of being victims of crime like getting hurt or having their things damaged. So even though Monroe has nice attractions visitors need to be careful.
Hammond
Hammond, Louisiana, is a small town with a big crime problem. Even though it’s not that big it’s really dangerous with lots of violent crime. People there have a high chance of getting hurt or having their things damaged. So, even though Hammond is small it’s not very safe for residents or visitors.
Marksville
Marksville, Louisiana, is a small town with a big crime problem too. Even though it’s small it’s most dangerous with lots of crime happening. People there have a high chance of being victims of crime like getting hurt or having their stuff stolen. So, even though Marksville might seem nice people need to be careful there.
Bastrop
Bastrop, Louisiana, is a small town with a lot of crime. It’s got a high chance of crime happening to people like getting hurt or having their stuff stolen. Even though there are some nice parts crime is still a big problem in Bastrop making life hard for its residents.
