Danger in Arizona, Sees Less Crime in Safer Cities
Recent data shows that some cities in Arizona are becoming safer. Even though we don’t have numbers for the whole state the places with the least crime show improvement. In these safer cities there’s fewer violent and property crimes happening. For every 1,000 people only 1 violent crime happens in these places, down from 1.6 last year. Also, property crimes have gone down to 10 per 1,000 people, from 12.7 last year. This suggests that Arizona might be getting safer overall, according to the report of Safe Wise.
People Feel Less Safe, Even Though Crime is Down
Despite the good news about less crime, people in Arizona feel less safe. The number of people who feel safe went down by 14% this year. This means even though crime is decreasing, people’s worries are going up. It’s important for officials to understand this difference between reality and how people feel.

More People Worry About Crime, Especially Theft and Violence
